A caterpillar with leaves
She struggled with inferiority and timidity. One day, there was a heavy rainstorm, falling in her land. At once, she used a leaf to cover herself from the rain. However the leaf grew frail and the rain exposed her spots to other caterpillars who were residing with her.
Until when there was a bridge she saw, looking to the other side. Slowly, she gathered the leaves together to cover herself from getting drenched by the rain. She crossed the bumpy bridge to get to the other side. During the rainstorm, she braved through a lot of difficulties like walking firmly on the ground without slipping, having the strength to brave through the thunder sounds that scared her. This was her journey across the bridge.
At that moment, when she finally got to the other side, the other caterpillars who saw her being drenched but a wide affirming smile on her face, they were in awed of her. They clapped for her using their feet, for braving through such a difficult journey across the bridge.
Soon her spots diminished and disappeared because of the heavy pouring of rain. Deep inside of her, she is more than a conqueror beautiful caterpillar. The other caterpillars used leaves to stick onto her body for representing the wings to let her know that she is beautiful even with the flaws she had.
Cathy found her true worth in who she was, not her own inferiority to define her. She felt beautiful inside out, despite her inadequacy.
The end.:)
Reflection: Look at the person's heart more than you look at the outward appearance. Every one in God's eyes are worth something and their true identity is not how they look or what capabilities they have.
The strength and courage that lives inside the caterpillar is what makes her a hero inside her heart.
Thank You God and A.C.
