Chapter 5: The Confession behind Amy's illustration.
Amy, Chocolate and Star.
I will draw this better when I have the time.
Chapter 5
Here, the train stopped at the first ever station. The lantern lights came to a dull, as the train moved slower, as seen outside the window panes.
It reached to a stop.
There was an old man who came to board the train. He was wearing a thick jacket, with buttons coated all over, as the cooling weather was making him freezing cold.
Amy then packed her stained yet full of mixed colours of her brush paints.
She saw someone outside the train door and stood up immediately, feeling excited,
"Hi Sir, welcome aboard!"
She then ushered him to an empty seat. When he sat down on the cold seat, he finally saw the painting illustration of Amy's, on the train wall.
He smiled frailingly and said, "Wonderful, your art makes me smile,"
Amy was touched by his encouraging words.
The old man continued saying, " I have never seen such a beautiful illustration, what was your inspiration?"
Amy replied softly, "It was God,"
"God?" He asked in curiosity.
" He is my inspiration," Amy replied in full of thankfulness and nodded intently.
"He gave me the inspiration to paint,"
Amy added on.
The old man rubbed his chin and thought to himself, "Hmm, I want to know this God. He must be very artistic,"
Amy then went to search her bag pack and found a small camera. She went to the window door of this train, and took a photo of the clouds in the sky.
"This is what He made," she showed the photo to the old man. The old man looked at the photo intently, with his brows furrowed. He then wondered what the clouds meant in the photo. He saw the clouds were shaped like hearts and diamonds in the sky.
Truly, the old man was encouraged, by what he saw in the photo.
He then went on to introduce his name to Amy.
" My name is Star. I shine like a star, even though I have white hair and moustache," He replied in a jokingly and casual manner. Amy laughed intently.
"Oh nice to meet you! I'm Amy, and I love my rabbit, Chocolate," She pointed at the seat where Chocolate was sleeping soundly.
" I believe that what God has to say to you is that, we are worth more than stars and diamonds in the sky, and He loves us the most," Amy spoke with childlikeness in her heart.
The old man nodded and said, "May I join you in this journey on the train, with you, experiencing God?"
Amy saluted with humour, and confidently said, "Of course!"
Star laughed. Amy and Star sat on the seats together and had meaningful conversations with, and about God.
